I had a sport dream and goal that I wanted to accomplish. For years, I envisioned myself becoming a professional basketball player. From deep within, I believed, this pro basketball dream would some day become reality. The talents and skills given unto me from God caused me to believe the dream is oh so possible to be awakened. The way I performed in sports gave me the power to say, “I am one of the greatest athletes in the world. Not too many athletes in the world are able to measure up to my athletic ability. Moreover, God is the one who created in my brain the talents and skills to be so dominate on the basketball court. 

Well, my basketball dream never awakened to reality. My talent and skill holder (the brain) experienced a beat drastic beat down. Never will my brain control my feet to run up and down any N.BA. basketball court. Never will the NBC cameras catch a glimpse of my leaping ability. Never will ESPN sport casters speak comments about my dynamic moves displayed. Never will a three-point shot be taken in a N.B.A gym by me. Not only did this basketball dream die, but also, every sport to me has become inactive.  

Here are the reasons why: One day, while I was using drugs, my heart stopped beating for 11 minutes. By the power of drugs, I was knocked into a deep sleep, that medical books call coma. For ten days, my brain was locked up in this coma. While I was in the coma, it was said, “If I ever awaken from it, that my brain would live as a vegetable. From the brutal work that drugs performed on me, my mental body and physical body went through rehabbing for 8 months. Since this wicked accident has happened unto me, I am left with only these words to say, “I Did Not Know” drugs would cause bodily harm, and destroy my sport dreams both at the same time.
